The 10th Anniversary of The Money Box Cap 2k Open Water Race & Pledge Swim is just around the corner. Known as the \”greatest swim on earth\” it is the only downhill swimming race in Texas. Starting just downstream from Red Bud Isle, clear waters flow and swimmers race (or leisurely swim) downstream to the Texas Rowing Center.
Though not mandatory, swimmers raise funds to fight prostate cancer. 100% of all donations is divided between our two charities: Prostate Cancer Foundation for research and Us TOO International for support, educations, awareness & advocacy. We encourage all supporters & fans of swimmers, or anyone venturing on the hike & bike trail this day, to wear blue for prostate cancer awareness. Any blue will do!
Participants will enjoy the free post-swim picnic with live music and food from local Austin favorites and distinctive awards ceremony.
