Come join Tri Rock Austin & The Texas Tri Series Wednesday, February 8th from 7 pm to 9pm at Jack & Adam's Bicycles to kick off the 2012 Race season. We will have free food, beer, live music, giveaways, and discounted registration to welcome Tri Rock into Texas, the Texas Tri Series, & Austin!

The Austin Triathlon is ready to rock it to a new level as it becomes part of the Land Rover TriRock Triathlon Series. Same date, same location, but now the race will have more live bands along the swim, bike and run courses followed bythe same greatpost-race party and concert. Taking advantage of the lively and popular music scene in Austin, as well as offering a scenic tour of one of the most beautiful cities in Texas, the race is bound to become a favorite amongst the series. Come get your rock on at Land Rover TriRock Austin on Labor Day, Monday, September 3, 2012. Tri Rock Austin is the 6th event in the 6th annual Texas Tri Series.

World-Class Triathlon Coming to Corpus Christi

(Corpus Christi, TX) Officials from the City of Corpus Christi, High Five Events, Jack & Adams Bicycles, and Ryan-Sanders Entertainment announced a world-class triathlon coming to Corpus Christi on April 14^th & 15^th of 2012.

The Texas Tri Series is bigger and better for 2012. New to the series is The Republic of Texas Triathlon in Corpus Christi on April 14th & 15th. The Texas Tri Series is composed of several triathlon events. Participants can complete the series by participating in all of the events. Participants will be given credit for participating in an event if they finish the event as a competitor, or if they volunteer. The series concludes with an awesome finishers party with great prices and gear for all finishers. Anyone trying to complete the series must register for the series. The series is 100% free, but you must still register for all the individual events. Make sure you read the rules and we will see you in the store or at the start line soon!

Saturday, March 24th from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Manzano Mile, hosted by USA Olympian Leo Manzano, is an all-comers track meet consisting of individual mile and mile relay events. Individual mile events range from Age Groups 10 years to Grand Masters (50+), and there are special relay categories for Corporate, Fit Industry, and Media teams. For Kids is the Kids Quarter "Future Milers of America" a free 400 meter event for kids 9 and under. The event closes with the Open Male and Female mile race. Event participants will receive an event T-Shirt, food, and drink with registration. Live bands will play on the infield during the event. Spectators are welcome to come out and watch the excitement.    

The Texas School for the Deaf, located in central Austin, will serve as the host venue.

What is Retul?

Retul is the most comprehensive fitting tool available.  The system uses cycling-specific 3D motion capture technology that allows for a dynamic fit.  The motion of the rider  can be recorded immediately while they are under normal physiologic loads on the bicycle.  Retul can capture the exact moment of peak knee angle flexion, extension, hip angle, knee over foot, etc.  This allows for a dynamic fit that will put you a better position because the system is recording quantitative data that cannot be accurately measured statically. 

Retul can also be used for new bike purchases.   The system can produce a comprehensive digital report of 3D bicycle fit coordinates, and bike frame geometry.  Using the digital report and Frame Finder we are able to make an accurate recommendation of frame geometry and parts.

Ironman Texas 2011 is in the books and registration for 2012 is open. We have spoken to the race organizers and they are expecting the 2012 event to be full in one week.
