EXTERMINATE CANCER RIDE

EXTERMINATE CANCER RIDE

On Saturday, August 25, 2012, Austin, TX will be home to the first annual EXTERMINATE CANCER awareness ride.

This free affair is a casual and informal ride for cyclists of all abilities, with a central Austin route lasting under 10 miles. Bring your families and friends, honor your loved ones who are battling cancer, remember those you have lost, celebrate survivorship, and meet others who are passionate about our need to EXTERMINATE CANCER. Together, we will help raise awareness to the fight against cancer.

We ask that all cyclists wear helmets, obey all rules of the road, do not exceed speeds of 12 miles per hour, and remember to bring sufficient water. Riders are encouraged to recognize their favorite cancer charities and share their cancer stories throughout the ride. As there are no registration fees, there is no ride support for this ride.

The 8.5 Mile ride starts and ends at Jack & Adam’s Bicycles at 1210 Barton Springs Road, Austin, TX 78704.

The ride will begin at 7PM, please join us at 6PM for pre ride festivities. If you cannot join us for the ride, please join us for the post ride after party at Jack & Adams, come and hang out with your fellow cancer warriors and stand a chance to win some awesome prizes in our post ride raffle.
